About veterans' memorial park
Veterans' Memorial Park
The Veterans' Memorial Park is near the Kit Bond Visitors' Center on US Army Corps of Engineers property, Stockton, Missouri. The City of Stockton was honored to receive a panel from the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Fund's Wall That Heals
and has gifted that panel to the Veterans' Memorial Park committee.
This panel will be the centerpiece of the park, surrounded by flags, including the U.S. flag, all branches of service
and metal emblems representing each branch of the service. Personalized paver bricks also will be part of the park.
To create this park for our veterans, the committee has held fundraisers and accepted donations --
both monetary and for integral pieces of equipment such as, flag poles, benches, sculptures, building materials etc.
The committee is selling personalized engraved paver bricks. These bricks can be purchased by individuals or organizations.
The message on the brick can honor or memorialize a military member, past or present; be a general message in support
of the military or a remembrance of a non-military special someone. Go to Brick Order page to learn more.
